@DeenBot @CamillaTominey Why do you distract from Muslims discriminating against others? Do you endorse their actions?

@CamillaTominey So Jews have their own police, ambulances, hospital sections and now housing associations? Why does your newspaper attack Muslims for not integrating when Muslims have none of those things?

Dear Mohammed. 1) The article states that some listings said 'Hindus only' but the vast majority were 'Muslims only'. 2) Entire flats and houses are being listed - not just single rooms. 3) Discriminating against tenants on the basis of their religion breaches the Equality Act 2010. 4) Non religious/conservative people (I think you mean non Muslims) do not automatically smoke, do drugs and 'sleep around'. 5) In the case of the Orthodox Jews in the story you have posted - this was about a charitable association NOT private tenancies. Thanks
Mohammed@MohammedJRH96

Firstly, the idea Muslims are the only ones doing this is false - the article also says Hindus do it, as well as others on the basis of gender (female only flat shares) and even language. Secondly, these aren't entire flats or houses for rent - they are single rooms. In my opinion if someone is renting out a room with shared living areas/bathrooms it's fair to have a preference for who will be sharing your space, which is why other groups do the same. I imagine many religious/conservative individuals wouldn't want to share their home with people who smoke, do drugs, drink, sleep around etc And of course the Telegraph and @CamillaTominey wont comment on their special groups behaviour that's arguably worse.

Islamic terrorism as carried out by Sunnis is almost solely a Western creation in every respect, including direct funding. "Shi'ite terrorism" to the extent it is a real thing, is generally people fighting Israel in Lebanon, Palestine, Syria or wherever else.

I remember hearing a Catholic priest from Mosul relate how his church used to provide free electricity to its Muslim neighbour from their generator. When ISIS arrived, he watched the neighbour help destroy the church’s bell-tower..

Similarly, many Turks heard from their dads stories of “evils” committed by Christian Greeks (or Russians, Serbs, etc.) against Ottoman Muslims. Because history is full of complex conflicts and mutual atrocities. And wisdom is recognizing that “good and evil” exist on all sides.
Eric Metaxas@ericmetaxas

Growing up my dad told me innumerable stories of the evils that Islamic Turks did to Greek Christians. I never dreamt I'd grow up in a world where Islam could still do such things. But Islam hasn't changed -- and neither has Christian faith. Good & evil are still with us.

The reason there's a rift between Europe and Russia (I mean apart from the fact that Russia is dropping bombs on Europe) is that Russia doesn't see 90% of Europe as legitimate geopolitical actors. Every door was open in the 90s but Russia is simply deeply offended by the idea that they would sit at a table with the likes of Belgium or Denmark (let alone Poland or the Baltics) as actual equals. Whatever US policy in Europe has been, Americans didn't change the Russian nature.
Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry@pegobry_en

The irony with all this is that the reason there’s a rift between Europe and Russia is because of US policy. Europe-Russia is a much more natural alliance in many ways than Europe-US. This shit is so tiresome

General Apti Aronovich Alaudinov ! - We've all been thinking all this time, but they're killing Muslims there, and we don't care about it. Everyone needs to understand one thing. True believers of Christianity are too closely connected with true believers of Islam to rejoice at the fact that some of us will be killed. The general sighs. I can't help but think of our so-called nationalists, who always side with the West in the genocide of the Muslim population. For me, a litmus test is the attitude towards what's happening in Palestine. Nationalists in this case always side with Israel, applauding the most bloodthirsty methods of killing the peaceful Palestinian population. Why is this happening? Firstly, Zionists are essentially Nazis in every respect. Palestinians are second-class people. Palestinians can be beaten, they can dance in their religious buildings, be prevented from praying, and be evicted from their homes. Any Palestinian can be called a terrorist and imprisoned. Nationalists, who are also fascists, dream of transferring this experience to Russia. Secondly, for "supporters of a white Christian Europe", one of the most important points is the opposition to Islam. Yes, some people take this side out of ignorance, but we know how much money is spent on maintaining the level of hatred. Hatred, no matter what you think, is not a cheap commodity. Oligarchs, supporters of mass segregation, far-right politicians, and ultimately Satanists are willing to pay for it. If we think broader and answer the question - who benefits from pitting people of the Scriptures against each other, it turns out to be the emissaries of the army of the Antichrist - the Dajjal. Thus, by formulating the principle of uniting Orthodox Christians and Muslims, Apti Alaudinov puts everything in its place. - Every killed one from our ranks, from our people, from our, as they say, faith, true believers, is another minus in our ranks of the army of Jesus, Isa (peace be upon him). For we, Muslims, are waiting for the coming of Jesus more, probably, than anyone else. And in this coming war, we will stand side by side with you. All our Scriptures tell us this. Will #Russia (and #China) see the #Iran war as a way to overextend the American empire (the way we tried to overextend Russia in #Ukraine), or will they fall for phony-baloney promises from Trump and his flimflam artists Witcoff and Kushner? John Helmer @bears_with is telling Nima @Dialogue_NRA that according to the Kremlin (Yuri Ushakov) readout of the recent Trump-Putin phone call en.kremlin.ru/events/preside… Putin renewed his endorsement of the dialogue with lying shysters Witkoff and Kushner ("On our side, a positive assessment was given of the mediation efforts undertaken by Donald Trump’s team and by him personally.") Helmer goes well beyond that Ushakov says, claiming that Trump wants Putin's help in curtailing the Iran war (limiting resupply to Iran) and not increasing oil sales to China. In exchange, Trump offered Putin relaxation of sanctions on Russian oil and export to Europe and helping to end the Ukraine war. Nima is clearly incredulous: youtube.com/watch?v=QRJnmH… I am too. Does Putin (or Xi) still not understand that no deal with the US will ever be honored by his "partners"?

Actually, it appears they budged in Anchorage, with Putin offering a freeze on the contact line in Kherson & Zaporozhye if Ukrainian forces vacated Donetsk & Lugansk. They shook hands & Putin (again!) was tricked, thinking he had a "deal" - then lamented Trump didn't stick by the "spirit of Anchorage."🙄 Pathetic...

People have commented that Iran's propaganda game is much stronger than Russia's. Partly this is because MSM keep interviewing their government, but I think Sid Meier's Civilization again provides the key: Russia tends to get military expansion bonuses, Persia Culture points.
