This is a step in the right direction which could boost revenue to states/farmers.
NDLEA and Police would then dedicate their energy/resources towards actual hard drugs criminals instead of extorting young people who only use marijuana for recreational purposes.

He said “Nigerians don’t have enough electricity to even keep their lights on for a day but are busily buying EVs”. And I rebutted by saying I’ve had constant electricity dispite his uninformed opinion.
I didn’t dispute whether on not the poor or rich are capable of buying the car, that’s more of a personal decision. But to say he doesn’t believe that stable electricity enough to power the car doesn’t exists in this country is actually incorrect imo.

He made a general assumption that Nigerians do not have electricity yet they are buying electric powered cars. I didn’t not reference what I said to him specifically. If that’s how it sounded it was not my intention
Regardless I don’t even have the best power myself yet I’ve lived with uninterrupted electricity for >5 years, you could just guess how the actual top 10% live.
