It’s about the quality of baseball I’m watching — and that starts with an unqualified manager and a GM who’s long past his prime. 8 years of Boone and Cashman are enough! Imagine what this team would be if they didn’t have $300m to spend? Honestly, I get more enjoyment watching the Marlins’ $40 million roster down here in South Florida. They play clean, fundamental baseball — something the Yankees seem to have completely abandoned. Volpe’s recent comment really sealed it for me. Instead of owning his mistake, he brushed it off, saying he was taught to “play aggressively” and that errors “don’t matter.” That mindset isn’t on him — it’s on the coaches and the analytics department that enable and encourage it. The issues are glaring and constant: •Daily baserunning mistakes •Bullpen mismanagement •Obsession with pitch counts •Players constantly playing out of their natural position — leading to errors •Mental mistakes & lack of fundamentals •Poor situational hitting •Worst extra-inning team in baseball •No fight when trailing It’s relentless. And 90% of it stems from leadership. And our owner is fucking clueless! I’m just done — at least for now.

I want to highlight Mantha's 2019-20 season with the 17-49-5 Red Wings. He won his minutes 34 to 30 with a 54% xgoal share at 5v5. With him on the bench, the Wings were outscored 73 to 27(!?) with a 39% xgoal share.

One of our best players was at 4 nations with his wife asking players in Vegas what the LIVING style was like in the city. His heart was never here. All while we were trying to win a cup. I can’t imagine what that did to the locker room…zero percent chance our guys didn’t know this.
