I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had. I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision. I’ve loved nothing more than putting that shirt on and representing my country over the years. I wish the players, all the best this summer 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Biggest VAR call ever? Four chaotic minutes that may define the season for Arsenal and West Ham. If it takes that long, can it really be clear and obvious? That is the wrong way to look at it. With @philmcnulty. 👇 bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

I think the biggest issue was why wasn’t it called in real time. Refs are too scared to make a decision now and just let VAR take the heat. That gets called live and nobody says anything. #arsenal #westham

Seen lots of comparisons to incidents of outfield playeds holding each other at corners this year - that’s been let go all year - but when it comes to keepers, pull the shirt or impede like that and it’s a foul.

So many people losing their heads about that decision today. Was it a foul on Raya - yes. He was being pulled and had an arm over him stopping him catching it. Did VAR take their time, yes, but it was a huge moment and fair play for making sure the decision was the right one.

Remember when Ola Aina cheated and mocked us. Rivals were loving it and did not care at all. Save me the moral warrior stance today. Stay mad.

@DougieCritchley Why are you talking about Arsenal when fans of other clubs are more concerned about him and talking about him? Strange comment

I see a lot of negativity from Arsenal fans towards Unai Emery, and to be honest I think it's a bit strange. No one will pretend that Unai Emery worked out at Arsenal. He took over a club that was drifting on and off the pitch, immediately after the departure of a club legend. The mood around the club had been negative for a number of years. The recruitment had not been up to scratch. It wasn't a happy 18 months. He then went to Villarreal, won a Europa League title, the club's first major honours and backed that up by reaching the Champions League semi-finals the year after. At Villa he took over a squad that sat 13th, 4 points clear of relegation and has finished 7th, 4th, 6th and currently has them 5th. For a manager supposedly "incapable of balancing Europe with the Premier League," he's reached the Conference League semi-finals, Champions League quarter-finals and this year the Europa League semi-finals. A level of League consistency we haven't seen from Big 6 clubs like Man United, Spurs and Chelsea in recent years, whilst balancing Europe. He's clearly an incredibly talented manager. The Arsenal fans that are blaming Emery for rotating, (no doubt motivated by the fact Spurs won comfortably) when they still have a chance of winning a first trophy in 30 years... Just come across as weirdly petty. It'll be 7 years this November that Emery left Arsenal, their fans that are still looking to looking to downplay his achievements, need to move on!

I see the debate about PSG and freshness rumbles on... As I said originally, tiredness from Premier League players who play in a very physically demanding league, with greater depth of competition (due to a massive financial advantage), in 4 competitions... is a factor against the rest of Europe. But to put it down as the CRUCIAL factor, in my opinion overlooks the fact that the quality of Bayern and PSG players, is just higher. And on the freshness point... PSG played 65 games last season (compared to 58 for Arsenal). The gap between the Club World Cup final and the start of Ligue 1 was 35 days. They have played 50 games this season and you can tell... Games missed with injury all competitions (+Ligue 1 games on bench) Fabian Ruiz: 25 (0) Ousmane Dembele: 19 (1) Doue: 18 (1) Hakimi: 17 (1) Joao Neves: 13 (2) That's 5 pretty crucial players, having injury-ridden campaigns. They aren't being rested, they aren't on a 9 month holiday domestically, they aren't available for selection. For Premier League fans to complain about freshness given the MASSIVE financial advantage they have over the rest of Europe doesn't sit right with me. Especially given the lack of minutes Arteta (and you can use examples for many Premier League managers) has given to Lewis-Skelly, Norgaard, Nwaneri, amongst others, this season! Luis Enrique should be applauded for utilising his squad to set-up their spring assault, PEAKING at the right time of the season, April and May!

@JoshNorris He didn’t though. He had no angle to score and he looked to play it in. He was a big upgrade on Jesus today.

@Carra23 That’s not even close to the same thing. Spurs fans were actively cheering their own team to lose tonight If we lost the Europa league final it wouldn’t give spurs the champions league win. We didn’t cheer our own team to lose. I can see why Ange was so angry at the end
