@MadsDavies @paulfreeland @KingCrawa @WalkerMarcus @thevicarswife I was part of a team which submitted a Diocesan bid, I'm sure that bids had to come from Dioceses not Individual churches. But we did bid to the Innovation fund to support Anglo Catholic mission in a parish. It was up to the diocesan team to make a case for what was included.

@paulfreeland @KingCrawa @WalkerMarcus @thevicarswife It’s a competitive process and you can see that some dioceses have received far more money than others. I know of instances where at least some aspects of bids have been turned down. Dioceses work closely with the Centre on their bids, which have to align with Vision and Strategy

1) I am unconvinced that the enormous sums of money being spent on new communities would not be better spent rejuvenating established churches - working out where the blockages are for mission (needing admin support is a BIG one, ditto clergy support).

@paulfreeland Page 6 seems to contradict page 7 - can deliver from a person's home. I wonder if the phrase on p7 'deliver youth work services' is key. Is that a technical term perhaps? I'd have thought much church activity falls within community club/activity.

Seems like a change which would affect lots of churches, like ours, where some mid-week groups happen in homes. Haven't seen anything about this in Christian press
