@LombardiHimself Speaking of actually watching football. Can the 49ers go get BYU LB Jack Kelly today? LFG!!!
English

The whole idea that a pick can’t be good because he went higher than in irrelevant mock drafts is very tied to how wrong many continue to be dead wrong about how good Brock Purdy is.
They worship draft order instead of actually watching football and understanding its meritocratic nature.
Once picks report, no one in the building cares where specific players were drafted. Only fans and some analysts, all of whom aren’t actually connected to the league and its workings, care about this.
That was actually one of the main draft points of a coach named… Bill Walsh

@957thegame Clears the space needed to draft BYU LB Jack Kelly!!!!

After flipping the most Republican seat in the country, I voted to impeach Donald Trump, knowing it would cost me. And I would do it again.
Because I didn’t go to Congress to have a job — I went there to do the job. I’ve stood up. I’ve delivered results. I’ve shown the courage to do what’s right. That’s the leadership I’ll bring to this job.

@MaioccoNBCS Gotta add BYU LB Jack Kelly to be ready if Dre goes down.
English

@sportslarryk BYU LB Jack Kelly!! Should still be available in 3rd round or later
English

The #49ers need to add FEARSOME DEFENSIVE PLAYERS if they want to win the SB. They’ve already added 2 in Dre Greenlaw/Osa Odighizuwa. Where are 3 or 4 more? Who are they? Joey Bosa? Jimmie Ward?
English

The ‘81 #49ers became champions after adding 5 truly fearsome defenders:
Fred Dean
Jack Reynolds
Carlton Williamson
Eric Wright
Ronnie Lott
The ‘26 Niners also need to add 5 fearsome defenders and they’ve already got 2 in
Dre Greenlaw
Osa Odighizuwa
Who are the next 3?
Joey Bosa?
Cam Jordan?
AJ Espenesa?
L’Jarius Sneed?
Zion Young?
Cassius Howell?
TJ Parker?
Jacob Rodriguez?
D’Angelo Ponds?
Chris Johnson?

@Tonysmarkettips Draft BYU LB Jack Kelly!!!! QB of BYU's defense for the last two years
English

@BontaHill Fun battle for Nick Martin??? Wasted 3rd round pick. They need to draft BYU LB Jack Kelly. QB of BYU's defense the last two seasons and explosive off the edge.
English

Wasn’t expecting this. Thought Winters did a solid job a season ago. It should be a fun camp battle between Greenlaw and Winters/Nick Martin.

Reunion: The #49ers are signing back one of their former stars, agreeing to terms with LB Dre Greenlaw, sources say. The former SF draft pick spent last season with the #Broncos and now returns on a 1-year, $7.5M deal.
English

@49ersHive BYU LB Jack Kelly could start next to Fred tomorrow.
There's 1. You guys can find the other 4

@LombardiHimself Lets use one of these picks on BYU LB Jack Kelly!!!
English

@TheSFNiners Another D- at 133 for a LB. How about they draft BYU LB Jack Kelly instead!

Pre-Combine #49ers Mock Draft
1 | 27 | Texas A&M WR KC Concepcion | KC has the potential to be a big riser from the on field testing at the combine and if you’re looking for the 49ers to draft a WR that can run every route in the route tree and create separation, this is your guy.
2 | 58 | Tennessee Edge Joshua Joseph | There is a lot of upside with Joseph even though he hasn’t been a huge sack producer at Tennessee. He has some high-level traits and could develop into a legit pass rusher at the next level.
3 | 92 | Georgia Tech OG/C Keylan Rutledge | One of my favorite performers from the Senior Bowl, he can do it from center or guard and has day 1 starting upside as a rookie, similar to Puni in that sense.
4 | 127 | Texas S Michael Taafe | An underrated prospect in this class, he strikes me as a playmaker on the backend of the defense. A First-Team All-American who could potentially make plays as a rookie.
4 | 133 | LSU LB Harold Perkins Jr | I’m not sure if I like Perkins more at LB or Edge, I just known want that talent on my team. In the right position, he could develop into a big time player at the next level.
4 | 138 | UCF Edge Malachi Lawerence | One of my early favorites in this class, he has awesome length and speed off the edge and I believe he has great potential.
5 | 171 | Indiana RB Kaelon Black | One of my favorite RBs to watch in college football last year, this feels low for him but based on the board he would be a phenomenal option behind CMC
