@NoahKahan @SGTyler15 All the music, like Staying Still, and Orbiter, and … ❓👀
English

@SGTyler15 Yea I try not to let it move me at all. This album is for you guys and you’ve waited long enough . U guys deserve all the music
English

@KahanArchive What if there’s a companion soundtrack to the Netflix documentary “Out of Body” with more new songs on it (like Staying Still or Shape of My Shadow)?!?!?

@GroupOfFiveGuys As a way to take ownership of this clause, The G6 should work together to create a “play-in” championship game to sell to a network that pits the two highest-ranked G6 Teams vs each other on Conf Champ Weekend. Winner goes to the playoff. High Stakes. Better ratings. More $.
English

@GroupOfFiveGuys But could also render G6 conf champ games meaningless. If UNLV beat Boise in ‘24, wouldn’t Boise have still been ranked higher and still went to playoff if this rule was in place?
English

Interesting. Could end up with a scenario of a team with 1 conference loss or that gets upset in a conference championship, but has a marquee win over top big brand, could make it over 2-3 loss conference champ.

NEW: In a previously unreported College Football Playoff change, the Group of 6 spot in 2026 does NOT have to be a conference champion. It's just the highest-ranked G6 team, a change some G6 leaders didn't even realize until recently. Details: nytimes.com/athletic/70021…

@JoshPateCFB Your Bowl Game solution would be even better with the CFP staying at 12. All teams competing for a “data point” play on Champ weekend. High Stakes all around. 5 Champ games (SEC, B1G, ACC, XII, G6), and 7 Bowls: Alamo, Citrus, Holiday, Vegas, Outback, Sun, Gator.

The theory is that a team like 2021 Cincinnati or the 2017/18 UCF teams ranked far ahead of everyone could be protected in a conf title game upset. But that's not a conversation G6 leaders were pushing for. Some just found out a few weeks ago. nytimes.com/athletic/70021…

Love the plan. But ………… Where is Army/Navy in this plan @JoshPateCFB? No longer standalone I assume??

Here's how we will crown a national champion January 1st while saving bowl season and fixing the recruiting/portal calendar issue From the desk of the future CFB Commissioner...
English

@ChrisVannini @davidubben @BunchFormationP You’re absolutely correct - but we can go back to where the semi-finals are on NYD and then championship a week+ later (approx. 1/10).
English

You can't change the back end of the college football schedule very much, like moving rivalry week or putting the national title game on Jan. 1 (which has never happened since the BCS began).

@JoshPateCFB What do you think of my “5+22” Plan? (DM’d details)
English

@JoshPateCFB Second Idea-5+11 Model - Top 5 Regular Season Champs are in, and the next best 22 teams play “wild card” games on the first weekend of December (replacing championship week). Highest ranked vs lowest ranked, second highest ranked vs second lowest ranked, etc.
Thoughts?
English

@JoshPateCFB Sent this via DM - here’s two thoughts based on your show last night and Sankey’s comments about 5+11:
First thought-the regular season champs should get in automatically, & receive a “bye” during the first weekend of Dec, (play-in wknd) Makes regular season even MORE important.
English

@JoshPateCFB Then, for the three “wild cards” the next six best teams should play for those spots (including Notre Dame, who should not get away with not having to play that weekend but still make the playoff). That’ll give you sixteen teams, round one is on campus third weekend of December
English

@JoshPateCFB SEC & B1G have 2vs7, 3vs6, and 4vs5 for their next three AQs. ACC & XII have 2vs3 for their second AQ. G5 either play as is & committee picks best champ or have top two best champs from different leagues play for that AQ.
