@FrankLi0324 @HedgeDocOrg The earliest repo is github.com/hackmdio/hackmd, it was renamed to CodiMD and HedgeDoc forked it to its own org. HackMD Team is currently maintaining CodiMD and HedgeDoc is maintaining HedgeDoc.

@CodiMD_Dev From my personal perspective, it's team hackmd that's misleading the community. As what I understood, @HedgeDocOrg is a rename of github.com/codimd/codimd, which was originally a fork of hackmd, instead of a fork of hackmdio/codimd.

We didn't change the name and there is no plan to do that. HedgeDoc is a fork of CodiMD. But CodiMD is CodiMD and we will keep maintain it as is.

.@GitHub Gists have become my primary means of sharing texts with people. No Word/Docs/emails, I write a MarkDown gist (using GistPad in VSCode), send the link and that's it. Love the simplicity.
