Honoured to meet the Hon’ble President of India this morning, along with three fellow MPs. We conveyed how the AAP’s Punjab government is misusing State machinery to target us for exercising our constitutional rights, after two-thirds of MPs chose to merge with the BJP. The party that once cried vendetta is now practising its most toxic form. We take strength from the President’s assurance that constitutional rights and democratic choices must be respected. AAP today behaves less like a political party and more like an obsessed, jilted ex — bitter, vindictive, and unable to move on.

NFU Case : The case has now been listed in Hon'ble Supreme Court as Item No 102 on 22 April 26 in Court No 3 (effectively second case in Regular List). Let's see what the Govt/Ld Attorney General (AG) has to say now on 22 April 26. The Govt/MoD is enjoying a "Stay Order" in this case since the year 2017 after filing an Appeal in Hon'ble Supreme Court against the Order/judgement dated 23 Dec 2016 passed by the AFT, New Delhi in OA No 802/2015 titled Col Mukul Dev Vs UOI. Till date the Govt has not been able to successfully argue against the said 97 pages judgement. Only Delay Tactics is being applied by the Govt/MoD.

@DrSJaishankar Mr EAM, please don’t take us, the electorate, for fools! Women’s reservation bill was passed in 2023, your government has not implemented it. Why combine it with delimitation which needs deliberation and consultations so the southern states are not deprived of representation!

Today, we all saw the true face of Congress, TMC, DMK and Samajwadi Party. By blocking the Constitutional Amendment that would reserve one-third of seats in Lok Sabha and State Assemblies, they have denied women their legitimate rights. The nation is watching, and so are its women. The insult meted out today to Nari Shakti will never be forgiven.

@narendramodi I wonder how such a bill could be introduced when there’s a moral code of conduct in force because of the ongoing assembly elections! Secondly, women’s reservation can be applied in the current Lok Sabha strength of 543 MPs. Why club delimitation with this bill!
