Yes the optics are a very notable improvement over the “first gen” A lot of people who get to try it will be way more optimistic about how lenses are quickly catching up in quality with the tiny displays they’re being paired with now

I unblocked the fingerprinting script and got the error again. My guess is that if you click on the payment system with the fingerprint blocked, the lockout will persist for 24 hours. I'll try again tomorrow and update you on the results.

I think I have a clue about what might have triggered the i2501 error. If you have an ad blocker, in this case uBlock Origin, it will block requests to mpsnare​.iesnare.​com (Iovation's fingerprinting service).

@MissStabby @iFixit Youre right!! I dont have a tip long enough, but I was able to take off the inside face gasket bezel using the ifixit guide ifixit.com/Guide/Valve+In… after the bezel was removed, I was able to reach the screw with the ifixit torx head. ty stabby!!!!!!!

Just solved constant audio dropouts on my #valveindex's left ear. All that was needed was a few twists with a T6 torx! (Be careful to order one with a thin tip and a short total length so it fits inside the headset. My @iFixit kit had T6bits that tapered too soon and didn't fit)
