I think Farage has always had a personal dislike of Tommy for being an oik. The general attitude of "that lot" which eminates down from Reform top brass has certainly held them back, imo, and as Harrison points out, a small amount finess would easily have resolved this.

Give it a rest. cultures evolve. That’s why Italians eat tomatoes (from the Americas), why French cuisine depends on spices from India, and why Greek food is full of Middle Eastern influences. Europe isn’t some static museum—it’s been a mashup of influences for centuries.
Also Yes, birth rates among migrants are higher—initially. Within one or two generations, they settle down to match the host country. Migrants aren’t trying to “replace” anyone—they’re just having families, like everyone else.
Europe is literally dying out. Birth rates across countries like Italy, Germany, and Spain are plummeting. If migrants weren’t coming in, these economies would tank because there’d be no one to work or pay taxes for aging populations. Migrants aren’t replacing anyone—they’re propping up the system. if Europeans were so concerned then HAVE KIDS and create FAMILIES ….
Also they come for freedom, safety, and opportunities. You think someone who risked their life crossing the Mediterranean wants to enforce laws they left behind?
Even in places with large Muslim populations (France, Germany, the UK), democracy isn’t going anywhere. If anything, most migrants value democracy more than locals do.
Let’s stop pretending it’s about “resources” or “cultural values.” If this were about a flood of Canadians or Australians, nobody would care. But the second migrants are brown or Muslim, it becomes a “threat to our way of life.”
Colonialism? Europe spent centuries exploiting Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, draining their resources, overthrowing governments, and destabilizing entire regions.
War? How many conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya were backed by Western nations? You break it, you buy it—and Europe broke a LOT.
Instead of whining about mosques or kebab shops, invest in education, integration, and community-building. The real danger isn’t migrants—it’s the refusal to adapt and accept reality.

A source within a senior office of the British Government has stated that, yes, Prime Minister Keir Starmer had encountered the Rudakubana family before the events which took place in Southport on 29 July 2024.
