We're so fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world, and Kate and Brian, both residents of Greenfields in Whitchurch made the most of the spring sunshine on their recent trip out to The Mere at Ellesmere. 🦆 All topped off with a nice cup of tea too! ☕

There'll be no spinning the decks for these records after residents of New Fairholme in Oswestry decided to get crafty and give them a colourful makeover!🎵 Hands up who would have bought records back in the day if they were this bright and colourful? ✋

It's starting to look a lot like Easter at Greenfields in Whitchurch. 🐰 The residents have been busy decorating and we think it looks fabulous! 👏

If you're visiting Greenfields in Whitchurch this weekend you're in for a treat. 💐 Our talented residents Pam and Kate have created beautiful flower arrangements to scatter around the home. They look and smell fabulous. Thank you both. 🏵️ 🌺

All our homes have activity co-ordinators who make sure our residents are entertained and have plenty of opportunities to socialise. 🤝 Keeping socially active in older age has many benefits including maintaining cognitive thinking in later life. #littlethingsinlife

We're so fortunate that over the past few months we've been joined by some wonderful young volunteers from The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme our Greenfields home in Whitchurch. The residents always enjoy their visits and manicure skills! 💅

How many of you are heading off for a Saturday big shop today? Well, be sure to stop for a cheeky cake and cup of tea in the cafe like Catherine and Raymond who enjoyed an outing to their local supermarket in Whitchurch this week. 🍰 ☕

As you know we love visitors, and this week New Fairholme in Oswestry welcomed some very special ones indeed! Students from Holy Trinity School popped by for a sing and chat with residents. And we have to say, they sounded splendid. 🎵

So lucky to welcome Janes Petals and Gifts to Stone House in Bishops Castle. Jane is fabulously talented, not only is she an excellent florist and entertained residents with a really colourful demonstration, she is also a singer! 🎤 🌹 Can't wait for her next visit 🎵

We've all been spellbound at Greenfields this week following a visit from magician Jack Dent 💫 🎩 There was even time for an afternoon dance! 🕺

Happy March 1! Spring is coming and the Gardening Club at Montgomery House in Shrewsbury have been busy at work planting bulbs and seeds. 🌱 Can't wait to see these in a few weeks time, they are going to look fabulous! 🌷

A massive thank you to the hugely talented Bertie Blighty for dropping in to entertain the residents of New Fairholme in Oswestry this week. 🎤 Fair to say everyone was up on their feet tapping their toes to those 60s and 70s tunes! 🎵

The birthday celebrations keep coming this week! 🎉 Many happy returns to Margaret Brown, resident of Stone House in Bishops Castle. Margaret celebrated her 102nd birthday with a special tea party for friends and family. 🎂 Happy birthday Margaret! 🥳
