@BeyondTheHalo The whole thing is stupid and no matter how many times they ask it’s not going to change anything. The reality is it’s not even up to Trout(unless he restructures or Art pays to get rid of him)-not happening. Arte is all about the now, not the future of the team

Most of what Rosenthal wrote today was stuff we already knew, which begs the question: why is this coming up again and where did the info come from?
To me, it seems like a leak from the Angels front office before they jump ship (or get pushed off). “Don’t blame us, blame Arte.”

@YT_OnDeck This whole thing is stupid. The reason he didn’t make the trade was because he thought he was going to resign Ohtani. And I don’t defend Arte-he’s horrible. But he was planning on resigning him. Ohtani gave him that opportunity-he just did not want to pay.

We all knew the Angels NOT trading Shohei Ohtani was a mistake. But now seeing that there was an offer ON THE TABLE to net Junior Caminero (45 homers at 21 years old) and other prospects just makes it that much worse. Rejected an offer to turn the franchise around to chase a <5% chance of making the playoffs. And then in the offseason Shohei asked the Angels if they would match the Dodgers offer and they wouldn’t. So in the end they finished 73-89 and lost him in Free Agency to the Dodgers for nothing but a draft pick. I can’t even begin to explain what a horrible business decision that was and it will haunt the organization for decades.

@DanielRPK Felt rushed. Fan predictions came up with better storyline conclusions than what was presented on screen. A lot of conveniences to wrap up the story. Fight scenes-weak. Could have been better if they concluded with a 2 hour movie. The whole Kimiko power was flat out stupid.

@BeyondTheHalo Idk if a Rah, Rah guy is going to help this squad. At the end of the day the problem is not lack of leadership, it’s lack of talent. The team continues to fill the roster with big swing and misses guys. Lots of HRs lots of Ks. And when the HRs are not there this is the result .

One of the sadder parts about the Angels atrocious play is the acceptance of it by the players.
I’m not seeing a bunch of anger or outrage over it from the clubhouse. It’s just like they all know the roster sucks. I guess it’s hard to call out your teammates if you also suck.
