@mrdpa @KaihatsuYT If you have access to the database (via your hosting control panel) you might be able to recover it by restoring the database backup to a new Wordpress install.
Chances are you had an out-of-date plugin or your file permissions were incorrect somewhere.

Looks like they've taken over my wordpress account.
I've tried to contact my provider as it's supposed to be their responsibility, seeing as I'm not hosting directly through WordPress.
Aside from that I don't know what to do. Any ideas on how to get a stolen account back?

Some unfortunate news about my blog site which I was looking to revive. It seems that yesterday it was hijacked by someone that tried to turn it into some kind of scam website. I've regained control, but they have completely wiped the website's contents with no hope of recovery.
