GREAT nomination & well deserved too! The 'draft dodger' currently in the Oval Office probably won't be pleased with Zelensky's @NobelPrize nomination? 🤷‍♀️ So, please do NOT share, got it? 😉 Wave a 🇺🇦 flag if you stand with Ukraine and Zelensky! 🙏 🇺🇦 #SlavaUkraine 🇺🇦

Holy sh*t. Thomas Massie says he’s going to start publicly naming billionaires implicated in the Epstein files because Trump’s DOJ refuses to convict. More courage than the rest of the GOP has combined.

I know it’s 2026 and women are supposed to do what ever they want but the gym outfits are out of control. Some of these women literally wearing a bra and 3 inch compression shorts. It’s over revealing and it’s not dignified. And it’s honestly not even that attractive compared to tasteful cleavage. It feels like an over share that nobody asked for and it also normalizes a culture of immodesty. Leave it behind.

The world mocked her appearance and turned her into a tabloid target… but behind the scandals stood a woman fighting to survive royal life. This photograph captures Sarah Ferguson, one of the most controversial and misunderstood women to enter the modern British royal family. When she married Prince Andrew in 1986, the public initially adored her lively personality, humor, and warmth. Unlike the reserved image often associated with royalty, Sarah appeared approachable, energetic, and refreshingly human. Crowds affectionately called her “Fergie,” and for a brief moment she seemed destined to become one of the monarchy’s brightest stars. But royal fairy tales rarely remain perfect for long. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Sarah became the relentless target of British tabloids. The press cruelly mocked her appearance and weight, infamously labeling her the “Duchess of Pork” — a nickname now remembered as one of the harshest examples of tabloid culture during that era. Every holiday, friendship, fashion choice, and personal mistake became front-page material. The constant scrutiny placed enormous pressure on her marriage and emotional wellbeing, turning her into a symbol of how brutal media attention could become for royal women. Despite the humiliation and public criticism, Sarah tried to build a meaningful life beyond royal scandal. In 1993, she founded Children in Crisis, focusing on improving education and opportunities for vulnerable children in impoverished regions. Her humanitarian work took her into difficult environments around the world, where she became deeply involved in campaigns supporting health, literacy, and child welfare. While tabloids often focused on controversy, many people who worked alongside her described her as compassionate, energetic, and genuinely committed to charitable causes. Sarah also pursued a creative career outside traditional royal duties. She became a successful author, particularly through her children’s series Budgie the Little Helicopter, inspired by her love of aviation and family life. Through books, television appearances, and public speaking, she attempted to rebuild her identity beyond the role of disgraced duchess. Even after her divorce from Prince Andrew in 1996, she remained closely connected to the royal family and devoted to raising their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Today, Sarah Ferguson’s story feels less like a scandal and more like a portrait of survival inside an unforgiving royal system. Behind the headlines and cruel nicknames stood a woman navigating public humiliation, personal mistakes, media obsession, and enormous pressure while trying to maintain dignity and purpose. Whether admired or criticized, Sarah remains one of the most resilient and undeniably human figures in modern royal history. © Historical Stories

In the ghetto, beauty was forbidden. No gardens. No parks. No flowers in a window box. The Nazis decided what a Jewish child could have, and beauty was not for us. It was a luxury reserved for those they considered human. I thought of that as I walked through the gardens of Buckingham Palace — endless perfect lawns, roses in deep red, soft pink, and white, fountains sparkling under a theatrical blue sky, ancient trees that had witnessed centuries. I was beside Eva Behar, another Bergen-Belsen girl. We had not known each other in the camp — survival left no room for friendship. But decades later in England, two old women found each other. She reached over and took my hand. No words were needed. I walked those lawns for my mother, Sara. She scrubbed floors so we could eat. She sent me away to strangers to save me, then vanished at thirty-seven into the Rakov forest, never to see another flower . I felt the grass beneath my feet for her. I looked at the roses and whispered in my heart: Sara. Look. Look at this. In 2012, Queen Elizabeth pinned the MBE on me for “services to education.” I smiled for the cameras, but inside, the fourteen-year-old with typhus and a shaved head still stood on that barrack floor. All the versions of me came with me that day in the palace gardens — the six-year-old in the ghetto, the girl who held Ann’s hand, the survivor who learned to speak again. They all walked with me. They all held Eva’s hand. We sat by the fountains, two survivors in the sunshine, surrounded by laughter and summer dresses. From Bergen-Belsen to Buckingham Palace. It should have been impossible. And yet there we were. Alive. Holding hands. In a garden. I am Mala Tribich. A girl denied beauty who lived to feel roses on her fingertips and the grass beneath her feet. My mother would have loved those flowers. Never forget. 💔

On August 24 in 1997, a week before her death, Princess Diana... She is seen perched at the edge of a yacht named Jonikal, owned by Mohamed Al-Fayed, the father of her companion Dodi Fayed. The two had been spending that summer together in the Mediterranean, sailing between the French Riviera and the coast of Italy. At this point in her life, Diana was both luminous and fragile. Freed from the constraints of royal life after her divorce from Prince Charles, she sought peace and independence. Yet she was also relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi, every gesture and glance magnified under the lens of the world’s fascination. Friends later said she seemed torn between excitement for new possibilities and a deep weariness from the constant intrusion. The yacht became a temporary sanctuary, floating far enough from shore to grant her moments of stillness. Just days later, on the night of August 31, 1997, Diana and Dodi would leave the Ritz Hotel in Paris, chased by photographers. Their car crashed in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel. Diana was only 36 years old. © Historical Photos

UNUSUAL An awkward moment in India… The wife of the U.S. Secretary of State sparked a stir among Indians. While Rubio and his wife appeared in peak elegance at a reception in the U.S. Embassy, she became the center of attention — to the point that a trumpet player lost his balance as she walked past him and accidentally blew his horn, prompting her to turn toward him.😂

He set the bones in his broken leg himself: the story of a British volunteer who fought for Ukraine and ended up in Russian captivity. A former British soldier is now serving a 15-year sentence in a Russian high-security penal colony. And he says it feels as if his own country has forgotten him. His name is Hayden Davis. More than a year and a half ago, he volunteered to join the International Legion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. But he was captured by Russian forces. Russia labeled him a mercenary — claiming he fought only for money, as nothing more than a “contract soldier.” Last December, a court in occupied Donetsk sentenced him to 13 years in prison. And last week, a Moscow court added another two years because the original sentence was considered “too lenient.” Britain’s Foreign Office says it condemns the sentence and remains in contact with Hayden’s family. In letters sent from detention and obtained by the BBC, Hayden described how he was captured after being severely wounded on the front line. His radio had stopped working. His partner had been killed. He had only two options: lie there and die — or keep moving. He crawled around 150 meters toward a place he recognized. The journey took him an entire day. The pain in his leg was unbearable. Bones were protruding from it. Eventually he reached a ruined building with a basement. Inside, he found canned food — enough to survive. There, completely alone, he treated himself the only way he could: with his own hands, he pushed the exposed bones back into his leg. He says he had never experienced pain like that before. He made a splint and crude crutches out of wood. He survived in that basement for two months before Russian soldiers finally found him. For an entire year he was held in solitary confinement before later being transferred to a cell with other prisoners. Now, he says, he feels deeply isolated. During all this time, no one from the British government has contacted him directly behind bars. He gave 12 years of his life serving in the British Army. And now, when he needs help and medical treatment most, he says it feels like nobody cares. British officials, meanwhile, are reportedly given almost no access to prisoners held in Russia, and are completely barred from occupied territories. All letters are read and censored by Russian authorities. Hayden allowed his letters to be published publicly. His family declined to comment. International organizations say Russia systematically denies prisoners proper medical care. Moscow denies the accusations. The Red Cross has also stated that it does not have unrestricted access to prisoners held in Russia — despite this being required under the Geneva Conventions.
