Today will feature a lot of storms from Texas to New Jersey, with some severe weather possible in between.
Isolated damaging winds, large hail, and a brief tornado or two will be possible. Stay weather aware on this busy Memorial Day weekend!

Checking in on our tornado count for the year, and we've leveled off a bit after an active March and April. We currently sit near average up to this point in the year thanks to a relatively quiet May in the tornado department. Ensemble models suggest that this is likely to continue through the remainder of the month and into early June as an expansive ridge builds in over the center of the US.
