This baseball tournament turned into chaos.

This mother is catching some flack because she said she sits on the opposite side of the parents on her son’s baseball team. Looks like the outfield. She said she can’t stand the constant chatter and lingo - “Good eye!” , “You got a piece of it.!” , etc. and all the talk in the bleachers. Many put her down saying she is not a team player as a parent. But some others said they agreed with her. I am with her. I usually sat down the line on first or third base. I want to watch the game and not chatter all night and listen to moms and dads coach their kids from the stands. Or all the gossip. I totally get it. Do you understand where this momma is coming from and feel like she does or do you think it’s rude of her to disassociate with the other parents during the game?

Bethany Hallam and her band of misfits on the Jail Oversight Board purposely create a terrible situation within the jail so as to try to arrive at this solution --- letting more people out.

@colin_dunlap Difficult to staff a jail at the levels needed & provide the tools necessary to do so when council chooses to waste $500k on uniform colors. If she blames the staff then I blame the oversight board. Bad people always find a way, she knows that better than most of us.

PA is the ONLY state in the country that doesn't mandate reassessment of property. A decade of kicking the can in Allegheny County has starved schools and local govt, and likely depressed development. Glad to see @bethanyhallam @ACDistrict5 taking action post-gazette.com/local/region/2…
