A1: I remember my father soaking lettuce and then pulling out his small childhood microscope and showing me the microscopic critters. And a childhood spent out of doors collecting bugs helped too. #INCLUDESChat

A4: Yes - reaching rural communities is very important as expectations and access may both be reduced. We need to prepare funders in advance - may mean reducing expectations of impact with regard to numbers and an increase an institution’s travel budget. #Qualitystem

In our study Cascading Influences, @DierkingLynn and I found that items saved was an interesting way to see specific successes - a long-term saved barometer for example might serve as a reminder of science and relationships #STEMEFFECT
