I was out in Nuneaton, Camp Hill primary school where they had some older community members visiting to help close the generational gap. Lots of stories, biscuits and smiles were shared. Bringing communities togther gives us all a better sense of belonging #kissingitbetter

Last week we met the first of our new town centre officers in Warwickshire. We accompanied PC Tom Shorthouse on foot patrol in Nuneaton town centre and had the opportunity to see the brilliant work and change he is already making, particularly in supporting retailers.

What a delight it was to visit Leamington LAMP to hear about the truly life changing work they're doing. We chatted with the Director who told us about a young person who came to LAMP, and with a small amount of time and encouragement, they saved a child from a life of crime.

It was very enjoyable to have the opportunity to speak to Lord Cameron today and hear his focus on security both at home and abroad. I too am an advocate for safe, secure communities. Our work to achieve this in Warwickshire continues. #Warwickshire #police
