Hey everyone, sad news from the beer world. 😢 Pabst Brewing Co. announced that it is discontinuing Schlitz Beer for good. This was a classic Midwest favorite for a long time. People loved it. It was called “the beer that made Milwaukee famous.” Many folks grew up with Schlitz at family cookouts, tailgates, and corner bars. It had that old-school taste and history that felt special. Did you ever drink Schlitz? RIP to a legend. 🍺

A lot of people saying AB started drafting well once Depodesta left. I'm gonna push back on that. #1 DePodesta is primarily responsible for Berry and Stefanski becoming GM and HC here. If Berry is good, DePo gets some credit. And Stefanski WASN'T terrible. He had two playoff seasons. #2 Berry DID miss on some players (Wills and many others) since 2020, but it makes sense that a GM would get better at his job over the years. And he has. #3 The Browns didn't pick in the 1st round for THREE YEARS or the 2nd round pick for two years (blame whoever you want or everyone in the building for the Watson deal). Berry had limited resources. No one can have stellar drafts without high picks. #4 The longer DePo was here, the less he had to do with personnel decisions. Especially after Berry and Stefanski was hired. Berry and Stefanski answered directly to the owner. #5 DePodesta's expertise was not in evaluating football players, but in developing systematic processes for data collection and decision making. Hence when you here Monken say "I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the PROCESS of Andrew and his staff", as Chief Strategy Officer DePodesta had a lot to do with developing those processes over the years. Depodesta is 14 years older than Berry. I'm sure Andrew learned a lot from him.

They’re the reasons I stopped watching the NBA. Was a huge Dubs fan. Firing Kerr at this late date doesn’t mean a thing to me. Being lectured by arrogant limousine liberals who fail to understand at least half their fans sincerely disagree, making it clear they think we’re “deplorable,” was and is unconscionable. No punishment. No announcements that he’s speaking for himself. Nothing, just an NBA, its coaches and players who follow the vile exclusionary in group activism of Hollywood. The great thing about turning your back on corrupted sports is the massive amount of time that frees up to much better things.

Steve Kerr and Gregg Popovich spent their entire coaching careers lecturing fans on liberal politics. The NBA is now just figuring out that wasn’t a good idea?

People really need to remember when Baker Mayfield called out Kevin stefanski's high School offense that was the last straw with Kevin and Mayfield hence why the Browns brought Watson and to run that same high School offense that Mayfield hated

Lots of blame directed at DePodesta. Let's not forget Berry didn't have any first-round picks for three years. Also, Catherine Hickman's arrival may have settled things down some. Whatever the case, Browns grading out strongly in this draft. True measurement will be on field.
