Loretta was a supremely talented actor. She deserved all her 10 EMMY nominations and her 2 wins. But more than acting her part, she created it. She worked hard In showing the writing staff how they could turn the character from a one joke sexist stereotype into a real person -- with real feelings and ambitions. We celebrated the day the script came out listing her character not as Hot Lips, but as Margaret. Loretta made the most of her time here.

Hi Tom. On Sunday the magic number only dropped to 6 for the @phills win. There was no drop to 5 for beating the Mets, because they had been tied with the Braves. When the Dodgers beat the Braves Sunday night the magic number went to 5. The Mets were then tied with the Braves.

If the @Phillies wanted to lose a game, why didn't the Team just forfeit the game to the Marlins! Additionally, it is still possible for the @Phillies to lose the division! If you want proof, just look at the 1964 Phillies who lost 10 of their last 12 games and finished second!
