Lebanon welcomes the support of its international partners for the protection of its sovereignty, stability, and democratic institutions. We appreciate Secretary Marco Rubio and the U.S. administration for their clear support for the Lebanese state and its legitimate institutions at this critical moment. The Lebanese people are exhausted by conflict and deserve a future built on reconstruction, peace, and the rule of law , not intimidation, parallel armies, or decisions imposed by force. Hizballa’s actions and military confrontations have contributed significantly to Lebanon’s destruction, deepening economic collapse, instability, and isolation from the international community. Lebanon’s future can only be secured through one state, one army, and one legitimate national authority

معظم مستشاري الرئيس ترامب الذي زاروا لبنان العام الماضي أكدوا أن لدى لبنان مهلة حتى نهاية العام ٢٠٢٥ ليظهر نية جدية للولايات المتحدة وللعالم أنه يريد إيجاد حلول وضع حد للأزمة التي نعاني منها. وجود الرئيس ترامب فرصة لا تتكرر، وقد وعدنا بأن الدخول في مسار السلام يقابله دعم وتقوية الجيش وإعادة إعمار الجنوب، بينما إيران تجرنا إلى الحروب والدمار. كما أن السفير ميشال عيسى نقل الملف اللبناني من وزارة الخارجية الأميركية إلى البيت الابيض وهذه سابقة لم تحصل في التاريخ. الولايات المتحدة الأميركية وحدها قادرة على إجبار إسرائيل على الانسحاب من الجنوب، لكنها تريد ضمانات بأن ما حصل في السنوات القليلة الماضية لن يتكرر، وبأن يكون أمن إسرائيل ولبنان بخير، وأن يحترم كل منهما سيادة البلد الآخر. المقاومة لم ينتج عنها سوى الدخول في حروب قاربت كلفتها ال ٤٠ مليار دولار، عدا عن نزوح وتهجير أكثر من مليون مواطن معظمهم من بيئة حزب الله، إضافة إلى دمار القرى التي مسح معظمها عن الخريطة، وعدد القتلى الذي تجاوز الثلاثة آلاف. نحن كلبنانيين لا نريد الموت لأجل أحد، نريد أن نعيش مع أولادنا في بلدنا، نريد السلام مع إسرائيل وسوريا وهذا حق لنا.
