@MatthewBerman Long time Anthropic fan here.. Sad to say, but I'm waiting for OpenAI new model launch more than ever after Opus 4.7 release.. By the way, try using it through Cowork, it's better there, at least you don't run in into the answer limit size block there..

Betting your entire AI stack on one vendor (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) is the worst decision an enterprise can make right now. Price hikes, quantization, rate limits, migration costs are all coming. You need to abstract your model layer or you'll start to feel the pain soon.

It was on the news a while ago that Chinese engineers discovered a method to build an AI system with home made electronics, avoiding sanctions. And they were crazy successful, much cheaper and much faster. Immediately after that news I started to test it and it is in my humble opinion practical, fast and adoptable. Just now I builded a trading system in Python with GUI tKinter. And I can expand it easily by just asking DeepSeek.

This year I completed 193 engineering tickets as a solo DevOps engineer.
