@Okla_OAG Call for an audit for Stitt. Also AG. Can you tell Oklahomans how much money Stitt was paid by Canoo?

@Okla_OAG Not one single politician who pushed 2019 HB 1269 through accepted responsibility for all the ensuing murders from this group of convicts . In fact, Stitt kept bragging about it. No wonder Trump dumped his tone deaf ass

You are one of the few people who weren’t involved in the passage of 2019 Oklahoma HB1269. Echols co sponsored . McCall pushed it through . Per the May 2022 GJ report the mass release resulted in 7 murders , one being my relative. Stitt signed it . The Oklahoman in April 2022 reported half had been re-arrested. I have the list through FOIA. It’s odd how nobody has done a forensic follow up to see how many of those angels are back in prison . I got tired of doing offender lookups . I did research on about 100 of them and was amazed how many were back in prison . I can’t with a clear conscience , vote for anyone who helped pass 2019 HB1269 making it retroactive. This group other than Anderson included convicts who had 40 year sentences ! That is hardly low level drug offenses .

@CharlesMcCallOK What is your stance on mass releasing convict felons into an unsuspecting community ? You pushed 2019 HB1269 through . As of May 2022 the GJ reported 7 murders had been committed by these angels deserving a “second chance”. I live with this every single day

I’m not afraid to say it. We’ve had enough of the radical agenda targeting our kids, the Biden era chaos at our border, and foreign enemies buying up our land. I’ll stand with President Trump, defend Oklahoma values, and put Oklahoma First. This is Oklahoma. And when I’m governor, we’re going to act like it.

I understand you pushed the 2019 HB1269 for retroactive release of those mass commutations . It was in Grady County where Lawrence Anderson murdered 3 people including my relative . The GJ revealed in May 2022 that this group of angels had committed 7 total murders . The Oklahoman reported in April 2022 that half those released had been re-arrested . I have the list of inmates and a ton of them are back in prison. Not one single politician ever manned up and said this was a huge mistake. No, you and Echols and others just swept it under the rug . Shameful

I was proud to stay until the very last conversation after the Grady County GOP forum because hearing directly from hardworking Oklahomans matters. The people of this state deserve a governor who will listen, lead with conservative principles, and fight to make Oklahoma better every day. Thank you to the Grady County Republicans for hosting a great event and to everyone who took the time to visit with me tonight. Our campaign momentum keeps growing because of grassroots supporters like you.

Oklahomans want limited government and lower taxes. When an agency director more than doubles his budget over three years, taxpayers are owed an explanation. Oklahomans expect transparency and accountability from every office, including the Attorney General’s.

The Hill is out with my column on the NAACP and Hakeem Jeffries calling for athletes to boycott SEC schools over the rejection of racial gerrymandering. Jeffries curiously used Jackie Robinson to oppose the ending of this form of racial discrimination. thehill.com/opinion/civil-…

Taliban legalizes child marriage and violence against girls in Afghanistan The Taliban regime has officially abolished the minimum marriage age for girls, replacing it with the vague concept of “puberty,” which can begin as early as 8–9 years old. New rules state that the silence of a “mature virgin girl” is considered consent to marriage. The Taliban also published a decree, “Principles of Separation of Spouses,” which mentions the possibility of divorce for girls who have reached puberty and are married. This implies that child marriages are permitted. The UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) condemned the new rules of the authorities, which it calls “de facto,” while Russia has recognized them officially.

**Yes, Jon Echols co-authored HB 1269 in 2019.** It made State Question 780 retroactive, allowing resentencing/commutations for hundreds of low-level drug and property offenders (the largest mass commutation in U.S. history at the time). The May 2022 Oklahoma County grand jury report sharply criticized the release process for Lawrence Anderson—who was freed under this framework and then murdered your daughter-in-law Andrea Blankenship along with two others in early 2021. The report noted a tragedy that may have been prevented. The Oklahoman (April 2022) also reported that about half of the ~400+ released inmates had been re-arrested by then. I'm truly sorry for your devastating loss.

@grok @jdunnington And several people died. The state didn’t even try to make it right to the victims family’s . In fact , they all pointed the finger at others . This came up during Stitt’s reelection …he said it was dark money and out of state actors. But what those actors said was true

I'm sorry for the profound pain this has caused your family. Lawrence Paul Anderson had a documented history of serious drug offenses, probation violations, and other priors before his commutation and quick release led to the 2021 Chickasha murders. The grand jury report criticized the flawed vetting and rushed process under the retroactive reforms, which this case tragically illustrates. No one was held criminally accountable for the oversight failures.

@grok @jdunnington Their claim of low level offenders was a lie. The man who killed Andrea was a four time loser including armed robbery in Arkansas and pointing guns at women and distributing CDC’s near a school .

@grok @jdunnington The female that was butchered was my daughter in law. Her daughter , my granddaughter , graduated from OSU on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. The commencement speaker told the class to be sure to call their mother in the morning . My poor wife began crying.

**HB 1269 (2019) was authored by Reps. Jason Dunnington (D) and Jon Echols (R), with Sen. Stephanie Bice (R) as the principal Senate author.** It made State Question 780 retroactive, enabling commutations/expungements for people serving time for simple drug possession and low-level nonviolent property crimes that were reclassified as misdemeanors. The May 2022 Oklahoma County Grand Jury report linked releases from this commutation push to 7 murders (one triple homicide + evidence of four others) and criticized the Pardon and Parole Board's vetting process and Gov. Stitt's oversight. The Daily Oklahoman (Apr 2022) reported that about half of the 400+ inmates released in one 2019 batch had been rearrested. No one was criminally held responsible for sponsoring or passing the bill.
