𝗡𝗢 𝗪𝗘𝗕𝟯 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗕𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗣! --------------------------------------------- Here’s how I’d scale @w3bflix if I were their Growth Strategist/Advisor. I’m writing this because I went through their comment section and noticed a lot of people are all about the airdrop and upcoming TGE, without even realizing the insane innovation these people are bringing to the space. For context, W3bflix is a streaming platform/film launchpad built on the TON ecosystem, leveraging the power of blockchain in the entertainment industry. Now back to the main topic, the first step is to figure out their competitors. Since this is a streaming platform, this shouldn’t be hard because obviously their major competitors are Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, AppleTV+, etc. The next step is finding out the pain points of users on these popular platforms. After doing my research, I was able to find some things that give W3bflix leverage over these platforms, such as: --------------------------------------------- 𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧 ◈ Location Barrier: In some locations, people have to use a VPN just to access certain movies (a major pain point on Netflix, as seen in app reviews). ◈Subscription Issues: Payments on these platforms are a barrier, especially in developing and semi-developed countries. Some users even make payments but get stuck when it’s time for renewal. ◈ Poor User Experience: Many users complain about login issues or being unable to access their accounts anymore. All of these set W3bflix apart because they leverage the TON ecosystem, and with Telegram’s accessibility to 950M+ users, location barriers would be less of an issue. Plus, leveraging blockchain ensures smoother payments, removing the need for OTPs. Netflix has 238M+ subscribers, but @w3bflix has an edge they don’t. With blockchain and Telegram’s reach, here’s how they can scale globally. --------------------------------------------- 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗚𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗪3𝗕𝗙𝗟𝗜𝗫 ➜ Add a comment section in movie highlights. This would help gather insights about the movies viewers watch and allow W3bflix to prioritize high-quality, trending genres while also helping viewers understand a movie before watching. ➜ Shift Twitter posts to focus more on what makes W3bflix unique, ensuring people see its value beyond cash-grab opportunities. Use video animations to connect emotionally with the audience. ➜ Host Spaces featuring video content creators who review popular movies and W3bflix content. This will onboard Web2 users interested in movies, not just random airdrop hunters. ➜ Collaborate with niche movie communities, Telegram groups, and influencers. Organize events like “Movie Night on the Blockchain” where global users watch premieres, interact in live chats, and earn rewards. ➜ Expand regionally by partnering with local streaming platforms in Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia to tap into untapped markets. ➜ Launch campaigns like: ▫️ “Movie Night on the Blockchain” ▫️ “BreakTheBarrier Campaign” ▫️ “Creator Spotlight” ➜ Introduce leaderboards for reviews, shares, and watch time. Reward top users with tokens or NFTs that unlock free content or special privileges. The biggest mistake any web 3 project can make is relying only on airdrop hunters for traction. W3bflix has the tech, reach and vision but growth will come from a true community that understands its unique value proposition. By addressing these core issues and prioritizing engagement, W3bflix can scale globally and attract both Web3 natives and traditional movie lovers! The only reason Asherkine does content that favors men occasionally is just so he won't be dragged as much as he's supposed to.
