@DertyDave18 @uckey_ @JakeBrownLive At that rate, no, but if traffic and parking continue to be a big problem, it wouldn’t be hard to imagine 100 people (or many more) wanting to take a given shuttle route.

@uckey_ @JakeBrownLive I’m in the bus now at Garden city. There are about 15 people on it. I just don’t think it makes sense to have a bus leave earlier for the chance of 5 people leaving. Leaving 10 using the bus after the game? This is all new so I imagine more will use it if it works out

Yes this is an issue of the shuttles. Maybe they add more but does not seem there is any backup plan. As of now it’s 1 shuttle leaving 2 and a half hours before pitch and return shuttle leaving 30 mins after last pitch.

@uckey_ @JakeBrownLive Or, alternatively, at a fixed time, like 2 and a half hours after the game start time. A lot of this depends on how many bus loads of riders they have from a given location. It will be interesting to hear how traffic and parking go today (vs. Opening Day).

@JakeBrownLive It would be cool if they had 1 bus setup to leave let’s say like the 6th or the 7th inning stretch? Just something I’m not sure they would realistically do, but let’s see.

@DertyDave18 @JakeBrownLive I rarely leave early, but those who take a car/subway/LIRR/ride share/etc. don’t face this. If the shuttle is meant to substitute for driving, then some flexibility, especially if there are multiple shuttle buses and many riders who want to leave early on a given day, is in order

@DavidBuchwald @JakeBrownLive Sounds like it. Risk you take, I guess. I’m on the bus as we speak at the garden city location waiting to leave for Citi field. I’m with my 9 year old. I never leave a game early. Now I have zero choice. Lol.

The road ban is being implemented due to hazardous winter weather conditions expected overnight, including heavy snowfall and high winds.
