@remarks But it’s okay for Nick Shirley to knock down on private residences and ask to see the children? What if those people opened the door and attack Nick Shirley like that? It appears they legally can.

@esaagar The us has plenty of offensive munitions. Production rates of commonly used munitions like jdams are in excess of 100 units/day per model. We’ve produced more in the last several days than we’ve used in the last several days

@Litwitom @iWomansplainer Understeer is far worse to deal with than oversteer. I’d much rather have too much steering when I slide than not enough. Also, having all wheels rotating means it’s harder to break traction in an awd car than fwd. there’s a reason rally drivers use awd platforms

@iWomansplainer My experience is that FWD is better than AWD unless you are driving in deep snow. FWD pulls the car through curves so there is less forward push to cause the car to spin out. The real problem is braking. My Pacifica is great in bad weather.

@yousuckass63590 @BamaBonds It's not more successful than Tesla if you define success as making profit. No, one capability definitely does not make a company dependent on government contracts immune to political instability and norm-breaking when its CEO is inexorably linked to a major political party.

Here Are 5 Uncomfortable Facts Showing How Bad Europe is compared to America: 1. Mississippi, which is the poorest state in the entire country is now wealthier than Europe's top economies - Wealthier than the UK, Italy, France, Germany and Spain. 2. European spending power is collapsing. Disposable income for the average American is now 80% higher than UK or French citizens, and 50% higher than German citizens. 3. European counties have stagnated. Nvidia alone is worth more than Germany, France and UK stock markets combined. In a fun and zippy twist, Nvidia is worth more than the entire Canadian economy. 4. Europe has the lowest fertility rate of any continent. Using the current trajectory Europe will cease to exist in 100 years due to the failing fertility rate. 5. Europe is not competitive in anything related to high tech. Not blockchain, crypto, robotics, AI, space technology or drones. Absolutely nothing. So, when Europeans say that the United States thinks we're better than they are, they're right. We do.

@anarchyfailed @RealTraderJill GDP per capita is higher in Mississippi Nvidia does not do most of its manufacturing overseas. In fact, it doesn’t do any manufacturing anywhere. It’s a design company Russia and Ukraine are at the pinnacle of real world mass deployment of LOW TECH drone systems.

@RealTraderJill The GDP of Mississippi is about 150 bil. The GDP of Germany is 5 trillion. While NVIDAs head office is in the US, the vast majority of their manufacturing and research is done in Taiwan. Ukraine and Russia are currently at the pinnacle of drone technology. Why lie?

@RnaudBertrand Energy density of PHS is horrible. You need an enormous amount of land and water to make it work. You also need the right geography (mountains with totally unoccupied valleys that no one minds if you flood)

The ignorance and gaslighting of these people is genuinely astounding. You DON'T need batteries to store renewable energies. BY FAR the most mature and widely deployed form of grid-scale energy storage is to lift water to a high spot with the renewable energy, and when you want to get the energy back, you let it fall with gravity to move a turbine (similar to the way a dam works). It's called pumped hydro storage (PHS), it accounts for over 94% of all long-duration grid storage capacity globally (hydropower.org/factsheets/pum…), and it's extremely efficient (80% round-trip efficiency: atb.nrel.gov/electricity/20…). The notion that because you don't make a battery you are somehow subservient to China to store renewable energy is simply complete and utter hogwash.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

Lutnick at Davos: "Why are you going to do solar and wind? Why would Europe agree to be net zero in 2030 when they don't make a battery? They don't make a battery! So if they go 2030, they are deciding to be subservient to China." (Get a load of the looks on the other panelists' faces)
