Fantastic day yesterday at Linnet Clough Scout Camp with 3rd Year Paramedic students. 4 x trauma scenarios, followed by a major incident exercise. Great work by staff to make this a meaningful simulation experience for students @EHU_FHSCM

@RebeccaLeek_ @UKRunChat I actually avoid some run routes because I know there'll be lots of dogs. 'Don't worry they are only playing' is another phrase that gets me as their dogs jumps/barks/growls at me

@RebeccaLeek_ @UKRunChat Happens to me all the time and I hate it. Some owners don't even realise their dogs are charging towards me. I slow down and walk, or even cross over. That said, some owners do see me running towards them and hold their dogs to one side. I always say thank you and then walk past.

If another dog owner tells me that 'they're fine' when their dogs run up to me not on leads, barking, being completely unpredictable I might 💥. I AM NOT FINE. Why do dogs rule? Ruins so things for me. I rate runs on dog incidents. Today was 🤬. @UKRunChat am I the only one? 😡

Manchester to Liverpool Ultra completed. Came 34th!!!! What a great race despite my Garmin thinking it wasn't worth the effort

@LynnHoward74 Very well, came 7th! 6 hours 20 mins. I knew it would be tough, but not as tough as it actually was. Great race though

@ChrisLittlew00d Ha ha. Got a trail half marathon this coming Sunday near me, then a 35 miler in Sept. Looking for a marathon in Oct/Nov time. The Langdale Marathon is good, might enter it again. Always on the look out for races
