@StephenMaxner @kimmie_c_ What's your point? I grew up the same way. On a farm. We always had fresh chicken on Sunday. A freezer full of beef. Canned vegetables. The only things we bought at the store were sugar and coffee and things that we couldn't grow or raise. No fast food.

Gen X here... I remember going to McDonald's for birthday parties & on rare occasions w/ my family for a treat. Eating out was NEVER an everyday occurrence... not even weekly. Months would go buy w/ nothing but grocery store bought food. Where are these people getting their info?

Can someone explain this to me like I'm 5 years old? Last month I paid off a credit card, no high balance at all. Two weeks ago I paid off another credit card, no high balance at all. These are the only two credit cards that I have. Why did my credit score drop dramatically?

What do you think of this Texas Roadhouse to go meal? It’s $54 dollars. My take is the protein portion was lacking. But everything else was worth it and you couldn’t dine-in for that amount with a family of 4.
