I want to thank Scott Ballard for his leadership as Chair of the LSU Board of Supervisors. During his tenure, LSU moved forward in a big way. The Board led a successful national search for new university leadership, strengthened accountability across the system, and helped deliver record enrollment and graduation numbers. Research funding reached historic levels, major capital investments were secured, and the Board led the reintegration of UNO. LSU also celebrated national championships on the field while continuing to raise the bar in the classroom. Scott positioned LSU for long-term success. While he’s leaving the Chairmanship, I’m grateful he will continue serving on the Board. A job very well done! I want to congratulate Lee Mallett on being named the new Chair of the LSU Board of Supervisors. I look forward to working together to continue LSU’s strong momentum and build on the progress that has been made.

@Theonlyjcvolly That is not the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge. I have spent years fishing there; the supports on the Basin Bridge are not made that way. The guy in the video says the I-10 bridge near Carryville. You are posting something that is explicitly wrong.

I learned way more than I ever wanted to know about how college football operates and frankly, the way the sport is run is a complete mess. College football is sacred to our country. Let’s not wait.
