@SandyHorne61 Some people have no idea how hurtful they’re being. I honestly think they are totally oblivious and have no empathy whatsoever.

There were some tentative plans for something happening later this week. I was looking forward to it. But I've just been told that the plans have firmed up and they now don't include me. No apology. This is cruel. If you want to hurt my feelings, exclude me 🙄

I got home from the workshop, we settled in for a break. Life was normal. During his nap, Drum passed away. I am so absolutely heartbroken.

Four days into 2026 & I have a lifer! I had heard about a Latham's snipe being at a local wetland area so went to see if I could find it. Found 2! Only 20 minutes from home. Very hard to see in the reeds & at distance. (Lifer: Birder talk for the 1st time you see a bird species.)

@RayeCharles Cook the fillets in a pan with some butter. Squeeze of lemon, you can thank me later! Yum 😋
