Seeing Acola and Doramigi in grands and seeing Tribailey win Duck Hunt over Psionic has tanked my will to take this game seriously
I will be going wacky characters for the time being and try to have fun cuz man is this game unfun when you have to beat Hitler & Friends

@abolish_the_lRS @Fightincowboy Sounds like it just wasn’t your kind of game. I wish there were way more $40 spin offs of my favorite action adventure rpg’s that allowed me to experience the same weapons, tools , mechanics but in a different genre.

Nobody is forcing players to focus so hard on their ranking it clouds their head during tournaments
Maturing as a competitor means overcoming that line of thinking
Focus on your GAMEPLAY instead of the numbers, and the results will improve naturally

sites like supermajor or pgstats are amazing tools for TOs and ranking panelists but making them publicly available single-handedly slowed more players growth than anything else in smash history

@REALOranguBang i think it is because DK is the greatest bracket character ever and dk punishes mistakes really hard. i think that in theory dk loses to a lot of characters but in practice its way different

Okay so I'm going to need people to explain DK to me. I see a lot of people agreeing dk is high mid tier now.
However every single person who makes a MU list says their character +2s dk. It can't be both? I never see anyone say their character loses to dk

Just like Summit, this hitting the goal in an hour, I NEVER wanna hear the community say doesn’t have money and complain bout venues wanting to raise prices FOR OUR BENEFIT ever again.
Yall are willing to pay for your favorite player to get to Japan but don’t wanna pay extra for top 16 to get paid out plus the possibility of more things for the casuals/spectators to enjoy.
Not a dig at Leo let alone Hbox but it is a dig at the community period.
