Millions of taxpayer’s money was spent sending 5000 FBI agents all over the country to round up and charge 1000’s who visited the capital Jan 6th. Those agents were taken out of the field from arresting criminals, to hunt down American citizens, many having not committing any crime at all. A few committed misdemeanors but charged with felonies. You locked up hundreds without due process and kept them locked up for months, in some cases years without a hearing. You put many in solitary confinement for no reason. You treated them like prisoners in 3rd world country conditions. You held back needed medical, visits and phone calls. You kept some spouses from a visit for over a year or more! You ruined families, most lost jobs, some committed suicide! Your damn right they deserve compensation.
