@aaldef I have been doing research on the discrimination against Asian-Americans by Harvard (& other Iveys) for a school project. I was wondering how you think Harvard can correct this problem in their admissions processes (i.e. how can they be better)?

A study by a Duke University professor shows the percent chance a standard application would get into Harvard based on race. The results showed that Asian applicants were being held to a much higher standard. #EM203Robin

A lawsuit was filed Against Harvard last year alleging they have intentionally discriminated against Asian Americans. It sparked an interesting debate in the effectiveness of affirmative action and University admissions processes. Link: theguardian.com/education/2018…

@kaitlinpower For the first time in my life my eyes are also fully opened. What we can learn through the internet is truly a miracle. For example, I was surprised to recently discovered that Europe has just over 50,000 people! Crazy!

The first 3 weeks of this course have really opened my eyes at just how much learning has changed within the digital age. We have access to information through the internet at our fingertips which allows us to quickly gain knowledge and insight through self-learning #EM203Robin

@em203nwiacek Couldn’t agree more Neil. As a student athlete. I’m so used to the constant rise and grind. Using the 💯 emoji in every 3rd text was also taxing. This course is a refreshing change of pace.

The first 3 weeks of taking EM 203 have been delightful. This course is structured is a nice change from the normal assignments, midterm and final exam grind. Course content is interesting and I look forward to where the upcoming weeks take us! #EM203Robin
