@Em203Pattison There are so many learning theories! One which my group looked at was connectivism- the idea of learning from others through the web, via research and using your own judgement to make conclusions on what you believe is factual!

@MStewart_EM203 Hey Mike! That is such a great point! Often times we forgot that there are many ways to absorb information and we do not have to settle for what we have. There are online videos and tutorials that can supplement our textbook material and enhance our learning ability!

So far in EM203, interesting topics have been brought up! One point that stands out to me is how in today's digital age, learning is complex and dynamic. There are so many different ways to absorb information, allowing for people to have a more thorough understanding!#EM203Robin

@EM203katie This is a great point! Often times teachers can forgot the resources at their disposal and force a "one size fits all" approach to teaching. With how advanced the digital age has become there are so many new ways to learn!

@g_tynd Couldn't agree more! The interactive weekly discussions help my understanding of course concepts and gives me an opportunity to see what other people have to say about the content.

The first three lessons of EM203 have been very interesting. I am enjoying how interactive and engaging the weekly lessons are and have developed a deeper understanding of the strong influence media has on society #EM203Robin

Throughout the first 3 lessons, I have learned that in our digital society, learning can be done with our visual, spatial, or auditory abilities. Multi-Modal method recognizes that using multiple abilities proves to be more effective than 1 in the learning process! #EM203Robin
