But, do you all think Doan/Benson/Ostlund/Quinn with more critical minutes and then adding Helenius/Kulich in the lineup can’t make up for Tuchs 66 points? Between 6 players with more minutes and electing the lineup?

@_danny_dinsmore @Sabrestalkv2 You have to replace his points. He's one of the primary reasons we won the division. He's a proven commodity. You could ignore that if you want. Like I said come the money has to be right but I'm not just going to dismiss the idea of keeping him.

BUF gets an elite top 6 winger to replace Alex Tuch.
Nylander instantly upgrades their top line, power play, and overall offensive consistency.
TOR gets a young, cheap, right shot defenseman while getting out of Nylander’s contract so they have cap flexibility.

MOCK TRADE TOR gets a good puck-mover in Byram who had a good playoff run. Helps fill out the top end of the D-Core. BUF, already with a surplus of LHD, get a righty who can supplement their youth/skill with size and experience. They get two valuable trade chips as well.

Top 6 role, playing the middle and he has a better game. Color me shocked. He’s going to likely play wing in Boston to start - no problem - but he’s a natural center and should be used as such in the long term. Sees the game well. In due time.

Way better. Four shots on goal through two periods, double what he had in the first three games combined. Also 6-for-6 on faceoffs.

Few players in Boston receive the praise that Peeke has despite his poor results. Works hard and displays effort, but it’s because he’s often out of position, making up for getting beat or mismanaging the puck IMO. Don’t extend him— get a faster, more skilled 3RD/LD. #NHLBruins

Not really sure how this team is paying Byram if you keep Tuch. Was not expecting Jarmo to say that. That’s a lot of money tied up on your backend but I would LOVE to have all 4 of those guys locked in.

FWIW, the league admits that Benson’s slewfoot on McAvoy, which they simply called a trip, was “dangerous” but no fine or suspension there after he was penalized for it during the game

How would you rate Don Sweeney tenure in Boston?

Still can’t believe Jarmo refused to trade an absolute liability in the playoffs, Josh Norris for what would be our best forward in Robert Thomas.
Thomas is exactly what this team needs, he would be a perfect linemate for Tage, and help the power play.

You have to find another line to get going and if it requires your 19 year old getting into the lineup it has to be on the table.
Tage, Tuch, and Dahlin all were headliners in being very bad.
