Circling back to this! What a way to kick off Women’s Herstory month! Meisha Ross Porter will become the first Black woman to lead the nation's largest school system @NYCSchools as announced by Mayor Bill de Blasio. She will take over the school system on March 15th👇🏾

SB1783 is a tax evasion scheme for big corporations to divert their some $500 Million tax dollars away from education. This bill is now on its way to the House of Representatives. The other bills listed in our post above also passed in the senate.
