- Understand what’s “normal” for your environment (logon times, traffic patterns, system processes, location trends). - What direction is the traffic? - Harvest IOCs and check integrity. - Focus first on alerts tied to high-value assets. - Look for Known TTPs The trick is to fast triage: • Is this alert actionable? • Does it affect critical systems? • Does it match known attacker behavior?
