🎉Our new study has been published in Annals of Vascular Surgery! We synthesized the current literature on shared decision-making (SDM) in vascular surgery. Key findings: 🔹 Patients want to be involved, but implementation remains inconsistent in practice. 🔹 Decision aids improve patient knowledge and SDM quality. 🔹 High patient satisfaction does not always reflect high-quality SDM. 🔹 Longer consultations are associated with better SDM outcomes.
