This is the kind of a mother I want to be. I hope that one day my children would remember me this way.

The saddest news ever is that Leina is not going to make it. The family will be removing life support tomorrow. The family has said that they have felt all the prayers in a very real way. Thank you all for praying for this darling girl. ♥️🙏♥️

My friend's daughter was hit by a tree on her head today and she's probably not going to make it. If you're in a praying mood her name is Leina. I believe in miracles.

@txsalth2o I failed to sign my daughter up for the next season of softball bc I was so afraid of the other mom's.

My husband usually takes my son to practice. Today I took him, sitting here listening to the moms talk is my personal hell. This is why I have no friends.

My son informed me this night that I am now a grandmother... ...of hundreds of praying mantis babies that he hatched from an egg sac? he's been keeping in his bedroom. 😱

@FaithLikeAbish2 @papatango314 Careful running it through AI. My BIL did that bc he was worried about his grammar (English is not his first language) and somehow that triggered something where they claimed he used AI (he didn't) and there was a big stressful hullabaloo about it.

Been wearing crocs around the house/garage due to construction. Accidentally forgot to change shoes before leaving for work. I have a 1:1 w my boss in 10 min.

We're currently living in the garage while renovating which honestly has been pretty great. Who needs a living room and a tv when you have a flashlight and toy dinosaurs?

A friend from church sent me a thank you note *in the mail* thanking me for the talk I gave at church a week ago. He said it was exactly what he needed to hear. I feel like my own prayer is answered.

@Cernovich Not just single dorms but single *luxury* dorms with access to all kinds of fancy-pants amenities. These ppl walk out of college assuming 9' ceilings, luxury bathrooms, and access to state of the art gyms/facilities is the baseline.

@LDSLaw Desitin. Yeah, diaper cream. Turns out mosquitoes (and lots of bugs) hate zinc and a $4 tube of Desitin will keep you bug bite free all summer. Source: one summer the whole fam was eaten alive except the baby who had diaper rash. Put a dab on your neck/arms and no more bites.

My wife got me this holistic, friendly-to-the-earth mosquito repellent that's, apparently, friendly to the mosquitos because I am eaten up. My legs look like I have the bubonic plague. I ain't got time for this boo-sheeeee-it. Give me the agent orange repellent that has ALL the carcinogens and is deadly to the earth. I want the mosquitos to think I just came from Chernobyl.

A 30-ish coworker explained to me why it makes economic sense to Door Dash a Chipotle burrito even though he literally drives past the Chipotle on his way home from work. If the $28 lunch discussion wasn't enough, I am now fully convinced GenZ has no financial literacy.
