@lockwayart @Grandulon11 True. Honestly I think said lesson could be clearer if Pomni tried reaching out to Jax one last time but he refused. Cuz now it may be read by viewers as "others failed Jax and they can fail you too". But I really believe that Goose meant this whole thing as a wake up call.

TADC, like any show, deserves thoughtful criticism. but i also think that maybe people are missing the point that it’s not meant to be a theory mystery generator, or a playground for character mashups, but an exploration of how people deal with a cosmically fucked situation

@misfitjax Unfortunately the only way to stop this is to accept the fact that he still exists in the previous episodes. He's still with us. As a character he can't really die and vanish. And we need to learn from his story and not make the same mistake. Stay strong.

После ВСЕХ сливов которые я видела... Мне нравится концовка. ВСЁ что говорила Гус действительно так. Биттерсвит. И те кто любил Джакса, так же будут любить его и дальше. Целиком серия смотрится хорошо!! Рваные кусочки без контекста сбивают с толку. Это хороший сериал. Я всё 🫡

@deliharrr Both things are true. Jax IS wrong and bad for doing it to them because yes, they are real. But treating his actions the same as the real world's counterpart is stupid as hell. No, Jax isn't some kind of murderer who would throw someone into the deep fryer outside the circus.

Having MEMORY LOSS from depression and trauma is a weird experience because people don’t understand how scary it is when depression and trauma start affecting your memory. Like you really start forgetting whole moments of your life, conversations, things people told you, how you used to act, and even parts of yourself. It’s like your brain got so overwhelmed from surviving everything that it started deleting things just to protect you.

just rewatched tadc ep 8 with my dad and ugh it's just so good i still want to love this show despite what happened. i'm mad at a lot of fans, at goose, and just really disappointed. but i still want to cherish this show and how it's helped me through so much HOWEVER+++

Pretty mixed on the episode and realizing this is one of the reasons why. Saw another quote mocking them for "being mad they came to a mature conclusion," but this is a character driven show. A drama where everyone makes the most mature decisions isn't all that compelling to me.
