Hmm I normally don’t do this but here is my take on the post I saw…. Because it’s gonna bother me if I don’t say it. Cloud’s reason to joining SOLIDER. Now, let me get this straight. Some people are claiming that Tifa was the sole reason why he went to SOLIDER? Mind you, this has nothing to do with anyone else but cloud and Tifa right. Before anyone decides to attack me for saying this, cause a lot of you don’t know how to act right because you believe hiding behind a screen will allow any poor behavior. No, Tifa isn’t the sole reason why he joined. Now a lot of you don’t see that is … well… idk. Cloud grew up in a town with his mom that didn’t really include him in the community, he was isolated. As a young boy who doesn’t really know how to interact with other kids, you start to develop a need for attention. when he discovered Sephiroth, saw how well liked and noticed he was. How he was the hero and heroes get attention, they earn acceptance in the community. Cloud wanted to be like him, to earn a reputation like that. That’s what got him to join, he wants to be noticed. No kid ever wants to be alone and he’s got a good heart that wants to help. Hero’s do that well, they help those in need. To be strong and be seen as strong, cloud wanted that. Now, when Tifa found out. That’s when she knows that all the boys will be leaving, including cloud. She took a liking to him then because of a fantasy she wanted, absolutely cloud was going to meet her at the tower. Someone his age, let alone a girl from town who popular wanted to talk to him. He was going to show up. But He has already decided to join before talking to her, so no. Tifa wasn’t the sole reason why he went.
