They all go to the next PQ and now the previous winner is in a spot to scoop one of the other three closer to a win. Next PQ you've got 2 scoopers to help the other 2, etc.

@Nat1Games_YT I don't really understand the comparison to PQs. That perspective on things seems to suggest that ideally players should accumulate invites to reduce costs? Which is wild.

Are we back to justifying why suspending players from playing tournaments is a good solution to avoid the "problem" that is some players hoarding Gold Foils? That's something.

@cardboardcohort Sorry man, losing a family pet is just the worst. Getting to spend that many years together is such a privilege but makes parting that much harder. We lost our pup after a similar amount of time, and it was real rough. We eventually opened our home to a rescue, and are so happy!

Today, we lost our best friend of 16 years, our dog Josie. It’s hard to even put into words what she meant to me, how much she shaped my life, and how empty it feels already now that she’s gone, and I rs only been a couple hours since her passing. She wasn’t just a pet she was my constant, my shadow, my confidante through every high and low. From the time I was a young boy with a dog, to a man with dog. And now, I’m just a man, standing here in a house that feels quieter, dimmer, and a just less without her. Sixteen years is a long time. She was there when I’d come home from awork, her tail wagging like I’d been gone for years, even if it was just a few hours. She’d sit with me through late nights, her head resting on my lap as I played gameses or battled though anxiety and stress. She saw me through all the tough times as i battled PTSD, both of is constantly jumping every 4th of July from fire works lol. Josie was more than a companion, she actually taught me alot over fue years as well. She taught me patience on those early mornings when she would whine to go ourside. She taught me responsibility when I’d grumble about walks after a long day, but would do it anyway because she deserved it. She taught me joy in the smallest thing, riding in the car to go get a pup cup from Scooters. She taught me about resilience, how to keep going even when her steps slowed, her eyes clouded, and her body started to get worst over the years. She never stopped being herself, even with here age. The house feels wrong now. Her bed is still there by the fire place but she’s not in it. I keep expecting to hear her high pitch whine when she wanted something, the clicks of her nails on the floor becaise she wouldnt let the vet cut them down enough, or even that little huff she’d make when she settled down for a nap. I catch myself looking for her out of habit already, glancing at the spot by the window where she’d look out st fhe back yard. I knew this day would come, even after being in denial thinking she was getting better when she really wasnt. Sixteen years is a gift with a dog, more than most get, and I have been grateful for that time. Moving on without her feels impossible right now, again feeling like just a man without his dog, trying to figure out who I am without her. People say time heals, and maybe it will. Maybe one day I’ll smile more than I cry when I think of her. I’ll remember how she would do something wrong and make it seem like ot was our other dog Sydney. I will laugh at the way she use to chatter her teeth when she wanted a treat or a cupcake. I needed her in life more than I knew, she was for sure my anchor. Rest easy, Josie. You were the best part of me and this amazing family for 16 years and we have a special place for you in the mantle when you come home. To the Animal House Veterinary Clinic I couldn’t have asked for a better place to take care of her for the past 12 years since we have been in Clarksville. Dr. Baugh ear I appreciate you coming to the house and guiding us through her passing so she could go peacefully, for that I can never say thank you enough. @cardboardcohort @fabtcg While I want to agree with you there, I know part of it is I'm living in a large metro area with a ton of game stores. People get curious and check the game out while in the store so its an easy onramp. I get it that not every LGS is in perfect location for growth.

@EppsForYa @fabtcg I honestly think an LGS that isn't increasing numbers of it's players is the real problem, not the game or the company.

So, I saw the post below, and I have seen several of them across social media platforms and reddit forums, and I can understand peoples frustration, but I don’t entirely agree that @fabtcg as a company has "sold out." My opinion is simply that their shift in focus, like adjusting allotments based on average player numbers seems more like a business trying to adapt to growth and demand than a betrayal of their roots. LGS's have always been key to the any games community, and I’d argue they still are, the company’s just prioritizing scalability now that the game’s blowing up. Trust me it’s not perfect, and the point about consistent long term supporters getting shafted stings, especially if your crew can’t hit those new averages. But I guarantee they’re not ditching loyalty for cash, they’re likely just chasing sustainability in a bigger pond. Online orders sucking up the slack isn’t ideal for local scenes, but shops could pivot and host bigger events, draw new blood, or lean on community vibes to keep players coming back. If the community in certain LGS's isn't growing the number of player then that could be the problem, not the game or company itself. It’s less about abandoning the old guard and more about juggling a wider crowd now. I may only have started playing FAB mid last year, but by what I have seen this game isn't that small indie game it once was, it's massively grown, and with that changes are inevitable and necessary. @DanielVavra I had the chance to travel to Prague for work last year and spent 10 days there. One of the best places I've ever been. People, food, transportation, history and entertainment were all 10/10! I wish I had the chance to go see more of the country.

Nothing compares to the Czech entrepreneurial spirit :) In Poland they would already be making souvenirs and building open-air museums, but here in our country, everyone is pissed that I didn't ask them if I could put their village in the game :) So please - dont make any mess and behave, if you plan to go there and follow the instructions of local bailiff!
