Someone has been in touch to say that at the Wedding of Rupert Lowe's son and his new wife, Yasmin Mezran, a HALAL option was available for guests at the reception afterwards as many in attendance were Muslim.
This is despite 'Official Restore Policy' to ban Halal Slaughter.

Why would an employer do that? They can employ a 45 year old with 20 years experience for the same wages as an 18 year old with none.
Maybe start by incentivising employers to hire them by dropping the minimum wage for U25s to £8 ph.

As a child survivor of CSE and a Muslim woman who has endured sexual assault and threats to my life by a man in a public position, I know firsthand how deeply silence harms victims. Although male members of the Muslim community encouraged me to speak out, that support was not there when it mattered most. This cowardice in standing with women is not new.

@Molson_Hart I’m the only Muslim in my friend ship group but they all only eat at halal places when I’m there cause I love chicken and steak lol 😂

Learned that if the Muslim population is 20%, you lose ~40% of your sales if your restaurant isn’t halal certified.
It’s not because Muslims spend more.
It’s because a mixed group of Muslims and non-Muslims will only choose Halal spots so the entire group can eat and drink.
