@SteazHornsby While it'd be fun, the biggest block to this would be the inability to gearswap mid-combat. There would always end up being "The One Right Choice™" in FFXIV and anything else wouldn't be bothered with. Anything else they'd just add to traits during leveling.

id LOVE to see these augments come into FFXIV.

I think I figured out why the gear chase in FFXI is so much better than FFXIV. I cant believe it took me this long to figure out. The Gear in FFXIV doesnt really matter.... They dont do anything but up stats to meet the gear score limit. In FFXI they DID stuff. Look below

@athen_aether I do wish the game wouldn't consider it a "proper" KO because it ruins the moment a bit if you hadn't died before then to have the "You've been KO'd" tip pop up on screen. Otherwise well done moment, but that sort of threw me off.

I still think it absolutely rules that the Praetorium rework implemented a punishing Lahabrea final solo duty, that culminates in him killing you outright. Like your guy just lays broken on the floor in silence for a full minute before Hydaelyn intervention. Spectacular revision.
