@FPL_JianBatra No chance. Mac Allister initiated the contact, literally threw himself in front to get the kick. Rules in recent years mean that if the attacker deliberately initiates the contact, then it’s not a foul

@lateriser12 I have a similar but different thought. If I was defending 1 off 1 the number one position I’d have a fielder is short mid on The striker is always slower, and the bowler is out of action. Having a fielder right on the non-strikers stumps and throwing straight to him is the plan

A friend just said this: I fail to understand why don’t captains put a short leg in when there’s 1 of 1 needed Keeper just throws the ball to the short leg in case they try to run a bye 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Does make sense.

@Marc82091718 @Hammerboy_08 @FPL__Raptor First point is team dependent, I have at least 6 players I definitely want to sell. WCing before BB is always a strong play, there’s likey 6-8 teams that will double so plenty of options

@FPLFitz @Hammerboy_08 @FPL__Raptor Im still so confused as to why folk are wc 32. For most folk your 32 teams looks great and wc 32 makes it look so much worse. Im going to FH 33 and my team is quality for 32 and 34. Feels like wc 32 is just to bench boost with some rubbish Chelsea and Brighton assets.

Salah injured before the GW even starts, Ekitike off injured in 7 mins, and Van Dijk clean sheet wiped as well. Liverpool stink, wish I could just own 6 Man Utd players instead.

@FPLPapa I have 101.1 purchasing power. If I want haaland (likely), I’ll need to save money. It’s likely 3-4 doubles (the biggest) with a few good SGW fixtures too. City not doubling doesn’t change the quality of the bench boost

@FPLFitz Most have over £106m tv Won’t need more than that Also, it’s going to be a small double with the worst bb ever I think 11 doublers and a bb later is where most top managers go If city don’t double in 33 which is looking likely the enjoy your Brighton players

If you’ve already hit your wc button One question WHY?

@FPLPapa Because we know there’s going to be doubles in 33, we know there’s going to be blanks in 34, other chips will be best used then so setting it up with a wildcard is the best play. Playing it now can easily save 0.5-1.0m

Given the context of the red card, a decent point. But overall thought we were worth the win there. Cunha did really well off the left in particular. No real complaints about the sending off and pen, but the contact from Maguire is no worse than the contact on Amad, if anything it’s softer! That’s why it’s frustrating to not get one, only for one to be given against. Maguire will be a big miss for the Leeds game.
