On May 30 at the @AstanaIntlForum 2025, I also attended a panel discussion entitled Building Economic Resilience: An @OECD Perspective. Reflecting on the topic, the strong roster of speakers from the reputable international organization’s secretariat, Elsa Pilichowski, Bill Tompson, Gregory Lecomte, #Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of National Economy Zhandos Shaimardanov, Johannes Baur of @EUinKazakhstan, and moderated by Daniel Witt, discussed the issues in application to #Central Asia and Kazakhstan, reflecting on a wide range of topics from good governance to transport connectivity in this region of the growing strategic relevance for the rest of the world.

@OECD Deputy Secretary General @F_Lapecorella spoke at the @AstanaIntlForum 2025 panel session on Enhancing Regional #Connectivity and Unleashing Development Potential, presenting the organization’s perspectives on the collective efforts to this end. The panel was excellently arranged and led by #BoaoAsiaForum team with honorable 8th Secretary General of UN Ban Ki-moon kicking it off with his excellent keynote address.
