Autism is not being over-diagnosed. There’s no reason to diagnose someone when a psychologist is already getting paid for an assessment. If you’ve ever gone for an autism assessment as an adult you’ll understand it’s actually incredibly difficult to get a diagnosis. My first time I was told I’m too intelligent and too good at socializing to be autistic—but he didn’t use autism diagnostic criteria, he just based it on stereotypes. Many women are told they’re too pretty to be autistic. They’re diagnosed with personality disorders and given medication. Being diagnosed as autistic doesn’t require medication. There’s no treatment for being autistic, therefore no reason to be over-diagnosed. A lot of you just don’t want to believe you’re autistic because you don’t fit into stereotypes. But there’s nothing wrong with you, you just have a different neurotype.

My second IMAX watch of SPEED RACER really solidified this as the best scene of the film. Racer X is so well defined through his brief screen time, and the tragedy of his secret is made all the more painful by Michael Giacchino’s best work ever.

@jayoliva1 @BickleKun @straczynski I'm unsure if you’re the right person to ask, but I’m curious: why hasn’t WB explored an animated series based on Zack Snyder’s Justice League? The fanbase is there, Justice League is a strong brand, and there seems to be a real gap in their market for it currently.

@BickleKun @straczynski All of the designs, storyboards, recording , editing, and finalization of the final film is still done in house at WB.

Though I appreciate the comments, to correct the record: WB approached me about doing the B5 animated movie once our Nemesis was gone, I then wrote it, and WB used their in-house animation team.
