Gifted collabs turning into paid work will always mean more to me than vanity metrics. It tells me the content actually did what it was supposed to do, they enjoyed working together, and that the brand saw enough value to come back for more. A brand I previously worked with on a gifted collab reached back out this week wanting to move into paid work together. Getting asked by one of your favorite brands for a second collaboration feels different than the first yes. The first project is usually both sides testing the waters a little, figuring out communication, creative flow, and whether the ideas actually translate from concept to execution. For the first campaign, I developed a few really fun concepts that the brand loved. Then once it came time to execute everything, the final content turned out even better than I originally pictured in my head. Allowing yourself to fully be present in the creative process does wonders. Some of the best content comes from letting the idea evolve while you are creating it, not trying to control every second of it. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity
