@CaptainCons The most interesting part of that book to me was Chuck Yeager getting shot down, recovered by French resistance, helps them make explosives while waiting to be smuggled, makes it back to base, petitions Ike to go back up. Never even tried to adapt that chapter.

Tom Cruise has been the subject of casting rumors in Miami Vice '85, directed by Joseph Kosinski, as the villain. If true and if Cruise joins, it'd certainly be a game-changer for the project; not only will he get to work with Kosinski for the third time, but it will be his biggest villainous role since Collateral. And his presence will most likely overshadow the film's two leads, Austin Butler and Michael B. Jordan. Both actors are formidable talents, but Cruise is famous for his intense, all-consuming on-screen presence, becoming a heavily discussed element of Kosinski's film.
